Welcome

5th EPSO CONFERENCE - Travel to Lapland

18-22 April 2010, Finland

About Lapland
Lapland is both the largest and northernmost province in Finland, and it is also the least populated. The Lapland attractions are unique and the wildlife abundant. Spring is the best season for skiing. In April, the average depth of snow in Muonio (years 1971-2000) is 70 cm. Alpine and cross country skiing around the hotel area will be possible as ski lifts are open until 1 May. The average temperature in April is -3 degrees Celsius and the sun shines from 5:30am until 9:00pm. After the talks, there will still be plenty of daylight to enjoy a wide range of networking opportunities directly from the conference center, such as skiing, sledging, walking or simply relaxing under the Nordic sun.

Time zone
Finland uses Eastern European Time (EET); This is Central European Time (CET) + 1:00h or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) + 2:00h
